In the coming days, as the temperature cools and the leaves begin to change color, Main St. Psychiatry will announce the launch of our expanded Substance Abuse services, involving treatment and evaluations related to DUI and other legal issues. These will include services to help regain driving privileges from the Secretary of State. If you have been charged with DUI, possession, or other legal concerns, and require these services, we are here for you.
Main St. Psychiatry believes in effective, compassionate treatment for mental health and substance use issues. We also believe in prevention. Many myths exist about what qualifies as Driving Under the Influence, and many are dismayed to receive these charges in circumstances they never imagined.
- Do you believe your vehicle must be moving in order to be charged with DUI? That’s a myth.
- Do you believe that you can’t receive a DUI for taking prescription medications? Also a myth.
In the coming days we will be launching services for those involved in the court system related to substance use. We will also be exploring the myths surrounding DUI to help you avoid these charges.
At Main St. Psychiatry we believe in treating the whole person, not just one circumstance, issue, or disorder. We understand that driving privileges are essential to our daily lives, and that people make unfortunate mistakes. We also understand that substance abuse and addiction are difficult to recognize in ourselves, and it can be very hard to admit to having a problem. No matter your circumstance, we are ready to help you recover from a DUI and/or substance abuse issue and get back on the road safely.
