Happy Holidays from Main St. Psychiatry! While this time of year can bring hope, joy, and precious time with loved ones, we also know this can be a time of great stress and anguish for many. The pressure to find the perfect gift, host the best gathering, and present an image of happiness can be overwhelming to those struggling with mental illness and/or substance abuse. We encourage everyone to take time for self-care and reflection over these next couple of weeks, as this can also be a great time to inspire positive change and a healthier lifestyle in the new year.
In keeping with this encouragement for self-care, Main St. Psychiatry will be closed from Monday December 24th thru Tuesday January 1st, opening for normal business hours on Wednesday January 2nd. Emergency phone calls will be answered during this time, as we allow our staff to practice their own self-care and enjoy the holidays with their loved ones. We are excited to come back in the new year refreshed and energized to provide the community with top notch mental health care.
In whatever way you choose to celebrate in the coming days and weeks, we wish every current and future patient health and happiness for the holidays and into the new year. We are humbled by and grateful for the trust you put in us to guide you in the journey to improved mental health, and we look forward to expanding even further in 2019!
